Ratifying the Constitution
Ratifying the Constitution was very difficult because congress had trouble getting an unanimous vote from all 9 states on a new form of government. The people part of the "well-born few" in Philadelphia oppose this because they were concerned that it only took care of the higher social class, also the power given to the government. People believed the government would have to much power that it could handle. Part of the biggest issue was the criticism adopted by the people that the Constitution failed to adopt the Bill Of Rights. These issues were handled by letters written in the news papers of New York by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay. These were supposed to re-analyze the constitution and answer the anti-federalist. The federalist tried to assure the public that the first step was adopting the bill of rights. Madison strongly enforced by Madison in the ratification debate in Virginia. http://www.congressforkids.net/images/ratifyingconst.jpg

Articles of Confederation
The Articles failed for many reasons. Mainly because each state tried to solely run itself. They believe theres no purpose in following one government so each state created laws each citizen had to abide by. The only purpose the states would come together is if there was a threat to the whole United States. These connections became very lose and the articles became known as " a firm league of friendship" (III) Another reason it didn't run so smoothly is because the government did not have the power to tax citizens, so what could they do without any money? Lastly, in the Articles of confederation you need a unanimous vote, with larger states this made everything much difficult because not everyone had the same intentions on what they believed.

Chaos
World without a government
The world today without a structured government would be complete chaos. There would be no discipline in the world and everyone would believe that they are the leader, which would lead to fighting. Crime rates would go through the roof because there is no penalties established by law which would lead to anarchy by the public. People would establish there own price on consumer goods which may lead to frustration by the consumer. Although, the purchases of goods would be limited because how we would import goods without a government? This would also lead to illegal importing from other countries along as exporting goods,
